Bown Eyed Sweeties!

Brayton, Keirsten and Alli have got those chocolately M&M eyes that remind me of storybook kids! This past Friday I met them for the first time through their Aunt Heather and Uncle Clint. We all met at their grandparents house in Belah and had loads of fun with their perfect vintage car and chocolate with bubble-gum pink outfits! I think Keirsten and I jumped each time the horn was blown! It was surprisingly loud! Brayton, you looked like you could take us anywhere in it...that is if we could keep Alli in! She was so sparkly and cute! Was the ice cream good? The way the weather cooled off, hot chocolate might have been nice too!

I hope you enjoy your glimpse into the session! I'll have them all ready for your gallery in no time! Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your Friday! You did a fantastic job!

Bobbie Jo...the Most Beautiful Southern Bride!

Bobbie Jo and her sister-in-law, Shelly came for Bobbie Jo's bridal portraits this past Thursday. I just thought the bridal shower was pretty...she was absolutely stunning during this session! I can hardly wait for the wedding. I have it imagined as simply and elegantly southern...right up my alley! Bobbie Jo, you are so sweet and easy to work with. Thank you so much! Shelly, I'm looking forward to your fall session, too!

While I'm at it, I need to thank my friend, Roger again! I had shopped for weeks looking for the perfect fainting couch when it was right under my nose...Roger, once again, you have really helped me out. Buying that couch from you just made my heart happy! Thanks again!

It's a Boy!

Meet Laraina, David and Delainey who are excitedly awaiting the arrival of Cash! I can hardly wait to meet the little fella! If he's as photogenic and creative as the rest of his family, my job will be a breeze! Laraina, I thank you so much for being my first maternity client! Remember, Cash's complimentary session is your gift of appreciation and congratulations! David, I think you are the greatest! Your love for your family really shows. Not many dads would have been as helpful as you were! Thanks to you all and I can't wait to meet little Cash!

JHS Homecoming 2008

Fun, familiar faces and good friends...Homecoming 2008 was full of them!

We were lucky and found the hottest parade spot in town! Roger Malcomb's house got all the good stuff and had a ball...had to have a rake to collect all the loot if that tells you anything! Thanks for being so fun, Rog!

BEAUTIFUL! The Homecoming court at Jena High School was exactly that! All the girls were gorgeous!

Hurricane Ike Brought a Shower of Gifts!

Fortunately, Hurricane Ike only brought rain with Bobbie Jo's shower! The Sunday after Ike made landfall, there was a beautiful shower given in honor of Bobbie Jo Smith and Benny Hailey who are to be married on November 1st!

Mrs. Billie Turnley, Dianne Lane and Kim O'Quinn proved to be ideal hostesses. The food was as scrumptious as it was pretty. Friends and family really showered them with many thoughtful and pretty treasures. I think my favorites were the Wii and the "Cotton Country" cookbook!

I am looking forward to Bobbie Jo's bridal session as well as the wedding! The ceremony will be held at The Briars in Natchez. The Briars holds a special place in my memory. One of my bridal luncheons was held there and I will never forget the precious friends and family that were so generous! Bobbie Jo, I can hardly wait!

I hope everyone enjoys their glimpse into the fun you're having!
