Better Than 1000 Christmas Memories!

Emily and some of her snow bunny friends had to tromp through the wet mud as they wished for snow! Girls y'all are gorgeous and I had a lot of fun with you...I'm hurrying! I can't wait to get them all done, but thought you'd like to see at least one while you waited!

Well, my Christmas special was really hopping this morning! I have a few minutes between sessions and I thought I'd try to share a few. I'll post a few from each session as I get them ready! For now, here's my first little cutie! She looks like she belongs under the tree!

Laken...Sr. 2009!

Meet Laken! She is one pretty country girl! I love her smile and the colors were fabulous! She brought her horse, Blaze who really added to her personality during her senior session! I'll be adding at least two more after we stuff ourselves silly with turkey! I hope everyone has a super Thanksgiving! God is so good!

See you soon Laken!

Meet the Boothe Family!

Sharon and I became aquainted through a mutual friend's Christmas card...Thanks, Nae! I enjoyed meeting her family today. Not only are they a good looking bunch, but they were really fun to be around! My "teacher ears" heard some pretty entertaining stuff..."The corner?!" Pretty funny! Anyhow, Sharon, Michael, Heather, Jodie, Alex and Rory, great to meet you guys! Hope you enjoy your preview as I prepare your gallery! I tried really hard to get the names right.....I have a sinking feeling that I got at least one wrong...Please let me know and I'll make a correction. If, by chance, I did get them correct, yay, me! Maybe my memory is stronger than I thought! Rory, I'd love to see some of your work!

Playing Dress Up!

Donovan and Claire helped me to remember how much fun it is to play dress up! We were actually working on another type of session when the urge to "play" came! I think it was the cowboy hat that called to Donovan the loudest! It just wouldn't leave him alone so we gave in and this is some of what we got! I had a ball and think they turned out cute as can be! I hope you enjoy! This session reminded me that, "We don't quit playing because we grow old...we grow old when we quit playing!" Thanks, Donovan and Claire!

Look What Heaven Sent to Earth!

The Case family was recently blessed with an early "toy" just in time for Christmas. Their beautiful new addition is named Greyson! We had a beautiful time celebrating his arrival. This is my second Christmas season to share with this sweet family that I have grown to know and love. I am looking forward to watching them grow and change for many more! Nae, Britt, Havana and Evan, thanks for sharing your new little Greyson with me! Congratulations!

Better Than 1000 Pumpkins!

The most precious pumpkins rolled into my place Saturday the 25th! I consider this first annual fall portrait special a real success! Thank you, everyone for coming! I can hardly wait to get the Christmas one rolling! Enjoy!

Pretty in Pink...and Green!

Thought you all might like a sneak peek into Candace, Cayla and Calli's all-girl session! Calli is turning one and we were celebrating her first year! You girls are lots of fun...pretty, tomboy sweethearts! Thanks for brightening up my afternoon!

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Hailey!

Saturday was perfect! The weather was mild, the sky was blue and the sun was golden as Bobbie Jo and Benny were married at The Briars in Natchez, Mississippi.

I've been anxiously awaiting this event and was not disappointed at the perfectness of it all! The aroma of Mrs. Ann Broadwell's mouthwatering cake lured me up the front steps and into the front rooms. The cake remided me of a beautiful string of pearls...absolutely gorgeous! The elegant simplicity of the fresh florals from Taylor's Garden were real works of art. How they every filled the lovely urn in the back courtyard amazes me! Stunning! And food...I have never had more delicious, southern cuisine at a reception...ever! Bobbie Jo, you wanted it perfect and it absolutely was...except for that pesky yellow jacket...gosh! Am I glad that turned out ok!

Bown Eyed Sweeties!

Brayton, Keirsten and Alli have got those chocolately M&M eyes that remind me of storybook kids! This past Friday I met them for the first time through their Aunt Heather and Uncle Clint. We all met at their grandparents house in Belah and had loads of fun with their perfect vintage car and chocolate with bubble-gum pink outfits! I think Keirsten and I jumped each time the horn was blown! It was surprisingly loud! Brayton, you looked like you could take us anywhere in it...that is if we could keep Alli in! She was so sparkly and cute! Was the ice cream good? The way the weather cooled off, hot chocolate might have been nice too!

I hope you enjoy your glimpse into the session! I'll have them all ready for your gallery in no time! Thank you so much for allowing me to be part of your Friday! You did a fantastic job!

Bobbie Jo...the Most Beautiful Southern Bride!

Bobbie Jo and her sister-in-law, Shelly came for Bobbie Jo's bridal portraits this past Thursday. I just thought the bridal shower was pretty...she was absolutely stunning during this session! I can hardly wait for the wedding. I have it imagined as simply and elegantly southern...right up my alley! Bobbie Jo, you are so sweet and easy to work with. Thank you so much! Shelly, I'm looking forward to your fall session, too!

While I'm at it, I need to thank my friend, Roger again! I had shopped for weeks looking for the perfect fainting couch when it was right under my nose...Roger, once again, you have really helped me out. Buying that couch from you just made my heart happy! Thanks again!

It's a Boy!

Meet Laraina, David and Delainey who are excitedly awaiting the arrival of Cash! I can hardly wait to meet the little fella! If he's as photogenic and creative as the rest of his family, my job will be a breeze! Laraina, I thank you so much for being my first maternity client! Remember, Cash's complimentary session is your gift of appreciation and congratulations! David, I think you are the greatest! Your love for your family really shows. Not many dads would have been as helpful as you were! Thanks to you all and I can't wait to meet little Cash!
